BECKS COULD MAKE EURO CUT

Will Ancelotti include Beckham?

AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has not ruled out the possibility of including David Beckham in their UEFA Cup squad list.

Beckham is tipped to make the cut despite only being available for the last-32 tie with Werder Bremen.

Subsequently, any inclusion is likely to increase speculation that the former England captain will remain in Milan beyond March 9 when he is scheduled to return to duty with LA Galaxy.

But for now, Ancelotti insists that any decision to include Beckham in their European squad would be Milan's prerogative.

"The possible inclusion of Beckham in our list would simply be our right," Ancelotti said.

"The choice of players is always delicate and will be made considering that Gennaro Gattuso is likely to return earlier than expected.

"The decision will also take into account the fitness of the other players."

Though, regardless of Beckham's possible inclusion, Ancelotti maintains that he is continuing to plan for the 33-year-old's departure next month.

"Even when Beckham leaves, the midfield is covered because we have Mathieu Flamini available," he added.
